Fairies!!

We are all drawing fairies today.


These are pages from Rosie's latest fairy story. One of the fairies who can't fly has built her own flying apparatus. Here is a detail:


I felt that her invention could be improved so I suggested this design to dominate all the fairies in the forest!

This beautiful fairy just wants to be loved but was born very hairy.

Avery sings Papa Paparazzi

This is Avery singing her version of Lady Gaga's song Papa Paparazzi. Listen closely and you'll find that she doesn't get a single word right.

Last Swim

Using the keen waterproof camera that I got from the family I took this video of the girls on the last day of summer vacation.

Rosie still playing with Barbie

Though Rosie is ashamed to admit it she still loves to play with Barbies. The big difference is that she doesn't like playing with them so much as staging them. She loves to spend hours setting up little scenes and will have a large (ten minutes if you'll stay to listen) narrative describing why she played each item in the scene and its significance toward the story. Note the scenes below.

Rosie's Doll

Rosie made this doll all by herself. She hand sewed the seams and the buttons. She's pretty proud of herself.
