I think this is an angel freaking out at the wrongly colored rainbow. She's probably worried that God has altered the basic laws of physics again.

Avery's Story

The Losten Girl

Once upon a time there was a little girl. She lived in a strange house; it usually had a door that had lots and lots and lots of knocks.

One time she went to her house and her father said, “Would you like to come on a ship with me?”

She went on the ship and on the ship she went to little places. She went bowling and went to pick flowers for her mom.

One time she found a girl! They became friends. The girl asked her friend to come over to her house some time. When the girl came over she said, “Would you like to pick flowers for my mom and make cookies for my dad?”

When she went to pick flowers for her mom, she saw a beautiful flower. It was a rose. When she picked the rose it was red. Then she made cookies and tasted the chocolate chip and she thought it was amazing and it was perfect.

The girl said, “I’m too tired, maybe I’ll come out tomorrow”

Then it was tomorrow. It was time. She was waiting and waiting, but the girl didn’t come. Then she went to her friend’s house. Her friend’s mom and dad said they hadn’t seen her anywhere.

She went out and looked everywhere; the place where she picked flowers, where she baked cookies, but she still couldn’t find her friend.

Then she saw a red dress! The same color as her best friend’s dress. She looked closely, very, very closely and she saw her friend! She had forgot to look at her own home. Her friend was waiting and waiting.
